Case 2

Patient presented with old veneers on the upper ten teeth that were originally done to hide mild tetracycline staining. Replacement of upper veneers with Zirconia crowns, to mask the tooth structure beneath, in order to develop natural shade and contours. This necessitated the inclusion of her lower ten teeth, in the cosmetic zone, as well to achieve a harmonious result. It is a common mistake to not involve the lower teeth when making a dramatic colour change in the upper if a natural looking result is desired.
